Eriksöre Bygata’s participation during the Harvest Festival leaves no one untouched and the organizers in the village has managed to build up a reputation of beeing innovative and broad in its range on all fronts. The residents of the village open up their homes and gardens during the Harvest Festival in favor of painters, potters, photographers and various craftspeople as woodcarvers and smiths.
On Eriksöre Bygata you meet a diversity of culture, but here is also a strong motor interest in the form of motorcycles, old tractors and vintage cars. Sunday is proclaimed “Motor Sunday” with a big motorcycle show!
On Saturday and Sunday, it is sheep herding and the association Nordsvenska Hästen in Kalmar shows the versatile North Swedish horse in traditional farm work. New for 2012 is the Music Café in Helena’s Barn.
